The two-day performance is planned to take place on August 5 and 6 this year, making aespa the first fourth generation K-Pop group to have a concert at the prestigious venue! They’re also the fastest foreign artist after their debut in history to hold a concert at the Tokyo Dome.

The dome has a capacity of 55,000 people, making it a venue that’s only used by top-tier artists that have enough ticketing power to make it worth the expenses to perform there. Other K-Pop artists that have held concerts at the venue include BTS, TWICE, Girls’ Generation, EXO, and BLACKPINK.

What makes this even more impressive is that aespa hasn’t even had a Japanese debut yet! The rest of their Japan tour is already sold out for all ten of their stops, with their two-night event at the Tokyo Dome added on as an encore.
