Directed by Lee Byeong Heon, popular for his previous film Extreme Job — which sold 16 million tickets in 2019 — Dream is a comedy based on the true story of a football team consisting of homeless players who participate in the “Homeless World Cup.” The Homeless World Cup is a football championship that brings together teams of homeless players from all over the world.

The movie revolves around Yoon Hong Dae, a star football player played by Park Seo Joon, who unexpectedly finds himself coaching a team of homeless players. Along the way, he meets Lee So Min, played by IU, an unenthusiastic documentary producer who is shooting a film about the team. The film also features Ko Chang Seok, Jung Seung Kil, Lee Hyun Woo, and Yang Hyun Min as the team’s unique and talented homeless players.
