NCT’s Lucas Updates His Instagram Story With New Dance Practice Video
NCT member Lucas‘s hiatus from the group has been going on for over a year and a half now, after gaslighting accusations were made against him in August 2021. In that time, he has made a few posts on social media and even recently made an appearance on NCT’s reality show welcome to NCT Universe, but there is yet to be any definitive statement on his future with the K-Pop group.

His most recent post on his personal Instagram account was on February 27 this year, when he shared a couple images of a dance studio he was presumably practicing in.
Now, on April 11, Lucas has shared a video on his Instagram story that appears to take place in the same dance studio. The video shows him practicing a dance with someone else — some believe it to be choreographer Sooram — and could be another sign that he’s preparing to rejoin NCT in active promotions.

Like most of his few posts on social media during his hiatus, however, reactions to the possibility of his return are mixed. There are plenty of fans who are excited about the update, and hope that it signals his good standing with SM Entertainment and NCT.

Others, however, would rather not see him come back to the industry, and aren’t too happy to see his update in the dance studio. Some of the comments on a particular Instagram post about the video are quite harsh.

We’ll have to wait and see whether or not this video does indicate Lucas’s return to NCT after his indefinite hiatus.
