GOT7‘s BamBam is currently promoting his newest release, Sour & Sweet, his first solo full album. While appearing on 1theK’s original series, IDDP, he took the opportunity to set the record straight about his past crush on TWICE‘s Nayeon.

A few weeks ago, TWICE‘s Jihyo appeared on BamBam’s variety show Bam House where the longtime friends talked about several things in their shared history.
One of the things brought up by BamBam was about his old crush on Jihyo’s groupmate Nayeon. The two chatted about it, with BamBam stating it was in the past.

After giving a shout-out to The Glory‘s Lim Ji Yeon during IDDP, BamBam moved on to the next topic, which involved watching the clip from Bam House.

BamBam says he will explain this topic and starts by first searching himself pre-debut. He points out several photos of himself, saying that his crush was “back in the day” and not current.

BamBam hilariously continues to get worked up, talking about an online post he had seen that said, “Save our Nayeon.” He repeatedly says that it was in the past and not the present.

He continues by explaining that he grew those feelings because of how she cared for him and that it was comparable to a character in a youth drama with a crush. On the forum post, BamBam read a comment explaining that it was similar to a kindergartener saying his teacher was his first love and agreed with that description.

Another commenter said it was at least ten years ago and wasn’t a big deal, which BamBam agreed with!
