NOZE was accused of discriminating against smaller brands by deleting sponsored Instagram posts for small brands and leaving posts for luxury brands up. She apologized with a handwritten letter, but netizens were still divided, and NOZE was quiet for a while.

Then earlier this month, it was reported that NOZE sued her label, Starting House, for not getting paid on time. She also asked to nullify her contract with the label until the trial was over. Starting House responded by saying that they didn’t remit payment on time because of her controversy last year.
On March 29, however, Starting House stated that the agency and NOZE had resolved their conflicts. In a statement, Starting House apologized for “causing concern” about this issue and clarified that after a deep conversation, NOZE and they are no longer on bad terms—and that Heize dropped the lawsuit.
After the deep conversation, the company and the artist resolved the misunderstandings with each other, the artist dropped the lawsuit, and both sides acknowledged each other’s mistakes and wrongdoings and resolved them smoothly.

The agency continued by stating they learned a lot from this incident and will do their best so that such situations do not happen again.
