Idol and actor BoA mourned Lee Sun Kyun with a heartfelt Instagram post on December 28. She posted a picture with the late actor, and in the caption, she recalled her warm memories of working with him. She also grieved that he “endured unimaginable hardships all alone” and wished him peace.

Kim Go Eun, another popular actress and former co-star of Lee Sun Kyun, also paid tribute to the actor on December 28 through her social media.
The actress posted an Instagram story featuring an old picture of her with Lee Sun Kyun. The two are seen smiling in the photo as she holds a bouquet of flowers in her hands.
Notably, there was no caption on the story, but somehow, the solemn grief still managed to come across to viewers. Notably, Lee and Kim were known to have a close friendship as they both graduated from the Korea National University of Arts. The two shared the screen in a 2015 movie called The Advocate: A Missing Body.
