Fans Praise BTS’s V For His Recent Promotion In The Military
The first photos of BTS‘s V in the army were recently released through THE CAMP, the official app for the South Korean military. The military itself uploads photos of its recruits for people who register on the app to see. V was pictured amongst his fellow recruits.

Eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed that V had been promoted. The badge that he wore on his uniform signifies that he is now a platoon leader. A platoon usually consists of between 20 to 50 soldiers, depending on department and platoon. The soldier next to him bears a sign that indicates he is the company leader. He also holds a sign saying “10th company, 1st platoon, 1st squad.”
This means that V now leads between 20 to 50 soldiers in his basic military camp! Well done! Netizens had nothing but praise for him.
