“JYP Or YG” — GOT7’s BamBam Picks Which Company He’d Join Now, “Roasting” Both In The Process
GOT7‘s BamBam is known for speaking his mind freely, no matter the subject. Despite getting some pushback, the idol recently attracted attention after giving his real feelings on marriage.
#BamBam clarifies that he is not a “non-marriage” person but just a 26 year old “not thinking of marriage yet”.

As part of promotions for his new album, BamBam appeared on Sunmi‘s Showterview, where the two labelmates chatted about his recent comeback, “Sour & Sweet.”

They also talked about his past life as a trainee, with BamBam explaining that YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk is somewhat responsible for the idol being able to debut as a member of GOT7.
During the survival program WIN, Yang Hyun Suk complimented BamBam in front of J.Y. Park, leading him to add the idol to the group.

After this, Sunmi asks BamBam if he was given a chance to choose between the two companies for a debut which would he choose. BamBam seems a little surprised by the question and asks her if she means now.

Sunmi confirmed, asking again if he was free to leave his current company — and both YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment wanted him — which of the two he’d choose.

Sunmi is shocked by his answer, and the two descend into laughter. BamBam says that was his choice only because he is under ABYSS Company.

Fans of GOT7 are probably not surprised that BamBam would not pick JYP Entertainment after some of the hints the group had given that they had issues during their time at the company. However, it was a little surprising that BamBam would rather pick another company than YG Entertainment!
