In 2023, BABYMONSTER was the big topic as YG Entertainment were finally set to debut the first girl group since BLACKPINK.

After so much anticipation but also setbacks, BABYMONSTER finally debuted with “Batter Up.” Yet, for many, it wasn’t what they had wanted or expected from the group after so long.

While it was met with mixed reactions, with some finding it overwhelming, the group hoped to make an impact with their new release.

After a long wait, BABYMONSTER finally returned with their new pre-release song, “Stuck in the Middle.” From the moment the teasers were released, it signaled a very different vibe from “Batter Up,” giving netizens a more magical and whimsical theme compared to the previous song, which seemingly fit the “YG Image.”

On February 1 (KST), the music video was finally released and marked the road to the group’s first album, which will feature Ahyeon.

From the very beginning of the song, it was clear that this was very different from “Batter Up.” Maknae Chiquita started off the song, and showcased doll-like visuals and vocals to create a fairytale vibe for the song.
