The Heartbreaking Reason Why TREASURE’s Hyunsuk Doesn’t Mind Feeling So Tired, It’s Like He’s “Going To Die”

TREASURE‘s Hyunsuk and Junghwan recently sat down for a one-on-one “T-Talk” that was posted on their YouTube channel. Here, the former heartbreakingly admitted that he often “feels pain” yet finds it oddly reassuring.

I’m the type to feel like I’m doing well once I get sick or feel pain. Do you know what I mean?

He admitted that there are many times when he felt like he was “going to die” due to his busy schedule.

So when I feel like I’m going to die from being sleep deprived…or for instance, if I have to shoot something after pulling an all-nighter from working, I feel like I’m going to die.

He stressed that he does not deliberately try to put himself in this tough position; he is simply too busy to take care of himself.

It’s not that I don’t look after myself. There’s just a lot for me to take care of.

This gives him a sense of satisfaction despite being overworked, saying, “But at the same time, I feel like, ‘Wow, I am doing well.’”

Hyunsuk heartbreakingly shared that he lacks the time to care about his health. He has a full time job leading the group, composing music, writing lyrics, appearing on YouTube videos, going on a world tour, and more.

And since I don’t have time, I don’t think I have the room to really care.

Upon hearing this, Junghwan opened up about his true feelings regarding the older member’s self-sacrificing personality. He unsurprisingly asked him to take better care of himself.

I want SPICY BOY [Hyunsuk] to be more healthy. It hurts to see you.

Hyunsuk replied with a soft smile, “That’s touching to hear.” They gave each other a handshake and promised to stay healthy moving forward.
